[Esmeralda || Belle]

Esmeralda was walking through the market with her cloak around her shoulders and her goat friend Djali at her feet as she made her way back to the court of miracles. She had made a fair amount of money this morning, having woken up early as usual to slip out before her sister could see. She would dance in the early mornings and late nights and spend the day with Shanti, making sure she was never in any potentially dangerous situations. She stopped at a stand to get some food for Shanti and then continued on her way home.

"Someone catch that monkey!!" a man roared angrily. The small animal run with ease through the crowd of people, a pouch with gold in hands a some fruits. He jumped up on a stand quickly, the man chasing him not seeing this and run past it.
"Now that was too easy," a cocky voice said behind Esmeralda.
"Good work Abu," Aladdin said proudly to his companion as the monky jumped down on his shoulder, giving him the pouch.

Esmeralda turned her head when she heard a man yell out, looking for the source of the trouble. She had a very good idea as to who was behind the commotion;there weren't many people with pet monkeys in Paris, she only knew of one. She saw Aladdin behind her, looking cocky as always. "You know you ought to be more careful," she said with a smirk, crossing her arms, "One of these days you're gonna get into some serious trouble, and just what will Clopin say then?"

He rolled his eyes at the metnion of his brother. "It's not like he cares anyway. He's to busy bitching about the court, wich is why I'm never there," he shrugged. "Besides, I'm only doing my job."
He took a bite of the apple he stole and checked her out with a smirk. "I see you're working hard too. Too bad you don't that you do not earn as much as me," he tossed one of the many pouch of gold and silver he "earned" that day. "You should join me sometimes~"

Esmeralda continued to smirk at Aladdin, looking down at Djali with an amused look as he spoke. "I could," she began slowly, "But I prefer to earn my money the honest way," she finished stressing the word 'honest.'

"Too bad then," he said casually. "What's the deal with trying to things the 'honest' way if people still treats us like crap anyway?" he mutterd and started to walk.
Abu, now sitting on Aladdin's head, munched on an apple while looking down at Djali. He titled his head and threw another piece of fruit to the goat.

Djali caught the fruit that was thrown down to him, quickly finishing it and letting out and joyful 'bah.' Esmeralda smiled down at the goat before looking back at Aladdin, "I don't want to contribute to the worlds views of gypsies. As long as I know that what they think is wrong, what else matters?"

"Pffft. Like anything matters..." he mutterd quietly.
He looked back at her over his shoulder. "So you're heading back to the court right? Is my brother still being a pain in the ass about everything?"
He never saw the court of miracles as their home. For him it was more like a prison.

Esmeralda rolled her eyes at the stubborn gypsy prince. "Yeah. Gotta get this food to Shanti," she answered, lightly shaking the bag of food in her hand. She rolled her eyes lightly at Aladdin's annoyance with his brother, "he's not that bad. Someone's gotta keep the peace," she gave a small shrug.

"Then he's doing a poor job," he said flatly,earning a light smack to the head by Abu as he said that.
He didn't mean it. He really did look up to his brother. But he was also annoyed with him.

Harley was dawdling home dejected at her morning thieving attempts. All those pockets she's picked had only gotten her a handful bronze and silver coins. "Is it sooo much to ask" she muttered to herself "for people to stuff their pockets full of gold coins?" Looking up she noticed Esmarelda and Aladdin talking amongst themselves. "Hey guys" she yelled out grinning, Harley sprinted to catch up waving her arms frantically so they would notice her approach.

"Well, "she shrugged, laughing silently when Abu hit Aladdin in the head, "Nobody's perfect. I suppose it can't be easy keeping things balanced with the lot who live in the court," she laughed lightly.

He rubbed his head, glaring slightly at Abu who just continued to eat his apple. "Whatever you say," he rolled his eyes.
He turned his head when he heard another familiar voice and smirked at Harley comming their way. "Hey there, working hard I see?"

[Harley Quinn]

"Tryin' to" she scoffed holding out her pouch of coins for them to see. "Look at this a whole mornings work, for this!" Harley frowned. "You guys do any better?" she asked.

((Sorry Harley.You posted right as I posted so I didn't see your first post before I posted. Just so you don't think Esme is ignoring you.))

Esmeralda turned her head when she heard a familiar voice, seeing the petite Harley waving her arms and running to catch up to them. "Eh,I did alright. Got enough to afford some bread and fruit, and I still have a few coins left over. I'll be back out later though,"she said with a small shrug.
