Philip walked down the stairs from the baker's house, fastening his belt securely. "Can't you stay?" The woman from inside the house frowned, tugging on his shirt to pull him back inside. "Sorry," He grinned charmingly, pulling away. "Gotta go, I'll be back sometime." He winked and walked outside, fixing his collar. He'd come to the point where he really didn't care who saw him coming home from his "meetings". Every man in town knew what he had done, and funny enough they all knew he'd probably done the same with their own wife too. Philip wiped his mouth sloppily and strutted down the street towards his own shop.

Rapunzel walked down the street cheerfully, a slight hop in her step as she went. Of course, this was nothing usual to anyone who'd seen her out before. She was always chipper and upbeat, eager to brighten anyone's day who she came across. Her eyes danced around excitedly, really taking in the scenery of the town and people bustling around in it. This turned out to be a bad idea when a few moments later she crashed right into someone, sending her tumbling forward.

"Geez! Watch it!" Philip growled, as he was almost toppled over to the floor. He dusted off his clothes and looked down at the girl on the floor. He sighed angrily and ran a hand through his hair before extending it to her. "You alright?" He asked, putting on a small smile.

"Sorry!" Rapunzel said quickly, looking up to see who she'd nearly knocked to the ground. "I'm fine!!" She said, taking his hand gratefully and pushing herself the rest of the way to her feet. She dusted herself off a little before finally looking the man in the face. "I'm reall-" Her voice trailed off as recognition flickered over her face. Is that...? But it couldn't be.. She thought. "Have we.. met before?" She asked slowly.

"I don't know....have we?" He said softly. His brow raised he thought for a moment, examining her. She defiantly wasn't one of his "Female Friends" .. at least he didn't think so. No he'd remember those eyes. He stared for a while longer, before coming to his senses. He did remember her eyes. "Rapunzel.." He said quietly, a look of shock wiped across his face.

Rapunzel's eyes widened, a smile quickly forming on her lips. "Phillip!" She exclaimed, "I knew I recognized you!" She was containing herself at the moment, bouncing on her heels and trying not to lunge forward and hug him.

"Hey!" He grinned widely. "How've you been! Wh-Where did you go? What happened?" He asked, not really sure which one he wanted to know more. He couldn't keep himself from laughing. He was happy to see her again, he was almost at a loss for words.

"I've been really good!" Rapunzel said, her smile widening. She tucked some hair behind her ear, leaning forward to whisper, "If I tell you, you have to promise not to freak out on me, okay?" She had no idea how he felt about gypsies and the last thing she wanted was to spoil their reunion.. But she HAD to tell him.

Philip let his jaw fall slightly, the air drying his mouth. "A what?" He asked looking her in the eyes. "A gyp-wh-what?" He was shocked. He didn't want to seem as if he wasn't supportive of her, but he secretly didn't approve. "Why?" He whispered.

"I .. I could have helped you..You knew that." He muttered passing a hand through his hair. He shook his head and sighed. "But nevermind..It's nothing." He painted on a smile. "All that matters now is that you're here." He finally gave in and pulled her into a tight hug.
