Garret's Bookstore

A place where books are sold. Garret's really the assistant, but truly he takes care of everything.

Anya opend the door to the bookstore and casually walked inside. "Helloooooooooo?" she said, looking around.

There was a crash and a loud bang, followed by a curse. "Eh, yeah, hi!" called a voice. "Just stay there for a moment, I'll be out in a moment." There was a few more quiet minutes before Garret stepped out from around back. Not knowing where the person was, he said, without looking at Anya, "Hello. How may I help you?"

She gave him a blank look. "You ok?" she asked and walked past him to pick up a book from the floor. "Anyway, are you the owner?" she asked with her back turned on him, now looking through the book she was holding.

Turning to face where he heard the voice from, Garret smiled. "Hehe... no I'm not to be honestly, but I'm the assistant. And this is a part time job, if I can recall what the owner was saying." He shrugged, before asking again, "Can I help you?"

"I don't know," she mumbled and placed the book back on the bookshelf. "I was just exploring a liitle and thought this place looked nice," she placed her hands behind her back and walked around some more. "And oh, I'm in need for a job too."

"So you are new around here?" he asked, picking up that she had placed a book in the wrong place. Walking over, he sighed, before his falcon screeched something. "Thanks Ayden!" he called, looking up at the bird before walking to but the book back in its proper place. "Well... I'm not totally sure about where to get a job. Maybe we can ask the owner when he's home."

"Yuss. So I'm kinda lost around here."
She turned around in surprise when the birs suddenly flew in. "Nice, a falcon as a pet? I'd want one too," she said blankly.
"Thanks I'd really appreciate that. Do you know anywhere i could crash for the night?" she asked and waved her hand infront of his face, starting to get what was wrong with his eyes.

[Esmeralda || Belle]

Belle opened the door to the bookstore, looking down at her hands as she entered and then closed the door once more. "Bonjour Garrett,"she started, looking up, then stopping a bit when she saw someone else in the shop. "Oh!Bonjour,"she greeted the girl, nodding a bit at her. "Garrett, I came to see if you had any new books in."she explained to him.

"Haha, yeah. He's kinda like my eyes."

He sighed, "Which by the way, if you don't stop waving your hand in front of my face, I might whack you." Although he was teasing towards her --evident by his smile after his comment-- he did have his stick in his hand. "Yes, I'm blind, okay?" he said, almost defensively, before hearing the bell ring. He turn towards the doorway and smiled at the familiar voice.

"Bonjour Belle."

He paused, thinking for a moment, before shuffling over to the countertop. "Yeah, in fact we did. I don't know what is it about, but here it is," he said, handing the book to Belle.

"Thank you,"Belle smiled at Garrett, he couldn't see it,but you could hear it in her voice when she smiled. She went over to the counter where Garrett was and took the book. "Hm....Looks like a book of poetry..."She said as she opened the book and began to flip through the pages. "I'll take it Garrett,"she proclaimed as she closed the book, excitement in her voice. She always got really excited when she was getting a new book, any new book.

[Miguel || Aurora]

Aurora pushed open the door to the bookshop, practically running inside "Garret!" she squealed, hopping up to sit on the counter, swinging her feet "I just got off work so I thought I'd come visit!" she giggled, finally turning her head and noticing the others in the shop "oh hello!" she called to them with a smile

[Esmeralda || Belle]

Belle turned her head in surprise as a young blond girl rushed into the shop, hopping up onto the counter. She laughed lightly at her enthusiasm. "Bonjour!"She greeted the girl.

"Haha, I'm glad. Maybe you can read some out loud to me when you have a chance."

Another visitor? He turned to towards the door again, smiling as he heard Aurora's voice. "Hey there Aurora~" he said, chuckling. "Always so cheerful, I'm glad." He smiled at her, before laughing. "We haven't gone shopping all week; we should go."

"I'm Aurora, it's nice to meet you" she said politely to the girl before turning back to Garret

She gasped in excitement and clapped "yes!! I've been absolutely dying to get a new dress" she said excitedly. "when do you get out of here?" she asked, wrinkling her nose at the books, she wasn't much of a reader
